We are Impact 27:17, a nonprofit ministry that derives its name from Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Tom Flynn, Men’s Discipleship Leader at Heritage Christian, is that encourager and line of support for our children. For Tom Flynn to continue to carry out his mission of disciplingour sons and daughters, we need your help. After the school year ended 2017, it was evident Tom and Heritage had to identify alternative funding to keep the discipleship moving forward. 

 

Over the years, Tom has used many methods to successfully reach the youth in his community. Last year alone, 21 Seniors on the football and lacrosse teams identified Tom Flynn as their primary spiritual influence!  For this reason, the Impact27:17 has been created. This nonprofit corporation was established so that through a grassroots effort, we can assist Heritage Christian with their discipleship efforts.  The first item on the agenda being able to retain Tom Flynn as part of the team...

 

Tom has a passion to inspire young men to be Christ-centered in their purpose, motivation, and conviction for their roles as men in relationships, marriage, family, career, and community.
